It's 3:30 am, and I am done with block #2 for the Layer Cake Quilt Along at Moose on the Porch Quilts. Being a night owl really does have it's benefits! :) Plus, it's so much easier to get a lot done after midnight. Everyone (including the 3 dogs and 3 cats) is sleeping and there are far less distractions. My favorite thing is putting my netflix on next to the sewing machine and just sewing for a few hours.
Anyway, this is what I got done tonight. These are my very first half square triangles. I had a bit of stretching, which I've heard is common, and they aren't perfect, but I really like the block. I originally was going to do light orange where the green is, but I like the green a lot. I'm glad I went with it instead.
